Roof, Siding & Chase Tops

This roof was severely damaged by hail, so much that there were very few granules remaining on the old shingles. Thankfully, we were able to get it replaced before any leaking started.

We replaced the old shingles with CertainTeed Northgate, Max Def black shingles. These have a class 4 impact rating and will handle the hail we get in the St. Louis area much better than standard class 3 shingles.

There were 8 skylights made by a manufacturer that no longer exists, so we had to find and procure lights with the exact same dimensions in order to replace all 8 skylights without having to alter the interior drywall. We installed 8 new Velux skylights, 2 with solar powered blinds.

We removed and replaced the old and discontinued siding with Royal Estate white double 4.5” Dutch lap siding, as well as all white aluminum window and door wraps.

Lastly the two chimney chase covers were irreparably damaged by hail, so we replaced the old sheet metal caps with 2 new stainless-steel chase covers.
